Joshua C. Harrison is a seasoned technical expert with bachelor’s, masters, and Ph.D degrees in mechanical engineering, who is very familiar with firearms technology and is well trained in competent firearms operation.
Dr. Harrison has been deposed and cross-examined as an expert, and has also taken depositions of technical experts as a lawyer.

Joshua C. Harrison earned the bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from USC, and the masters and Ph.D degrees in mechanical engineering from UCSD. After substantial industry experience as a mechanical engineer and engineering manager, and service as a lecturer of mechanical engineering in academia, he earned the juris doctor degree from Stanford Law School, and then began practice as a patent attorney and expert witness.
Dr. Harrison is very familiar with firearms technology and is well trained in competent firearms operation. He enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps light infantry at the age of 17, and later served as a commissioned officer in the US Army Reserve for more than two decades. Dr. Harrison is a lifelong firearms technology enthusiast and avid shooter. He was a successful marksmanship and practical shooting competitor, and is now a licensed shooting instructor.
